An Open Letter To All High School Baseball
Players and Their Parents

Regarding: “My College Baseball Plan” Program
Dear High School Baseball Players and Parents,
Graduating from high school and moving on to play college baseball…..that’s perhaps the best scenario any high school baseball player or his parents can dream of. Just think - getting to enjoy the best years of young adult life – the college years, playing the game he loves and earning his college degree at the same time.
There are approximately 500,000 high school baseball players in the U.S. in any given year. Almost all of these young men would love the opportunity to continue their playing careers into college.
That's 500,0000 high school baseball players out there wanting to play college baseball...
But most of the time the emphasis is just on wanting to play,
with very few actually DOING anything about it.
Why is that?
The biggest reason is the fact that most people don’t really have a good idea where to even start! There seem to be a million things to learn and do. And you have a full time job and a family that keeps you very busy. That’s not to mention practices, games, travel teams, fundraisers, etc, etc. Believe me, I understand because I did it too. I was coaching in high school and all 3 of my sons were on 2 teams each.
You're an expert in your own particular field, but who has the time to become an expert in college baseball placement too?
I do.
It’s my job.
And when I tell you there is a better way to get your son into college baseball, I know what I’m talking about:
* I have gone straight to the source. I ask college coaches around the country what they're looking for and what a high school player can do to get to college baseball.
* I have personally coached over 25 players that have gone on to play college baseball, including one team with 6 future Division I players.
* Players I have worked with have moved on from high school to make their way onto college rosters at levels from Junior College all the way to NCAA Division I.
* I’ve been hired as a personal consultant to work with both the high school player and his family to get him placed and playing at the college level.
* Two of my own sons have gone on to play college baseball, meaning I know this process from the parent perspective too.
* I even work in baseball specific personal training – Power, Speed, and Agility training for the prospective college player. (a subject we will cover in the program)
So I speak from experience.
And let me tell you, learning everything you need to know to give your son the best chance at playing in college is hard work. Then finding the time to actually do it is even harder! Most people start off with good intentions, but their plans fall by the wayside when they realize they don’t know what to do and don’t have the time or know-how to research, study and figure it all out. They end up just hoping a coach calls one day and that everything will somehow work out ok. There is one very big problem with that….more than 90% of the time it doesn’t.
So, if you consider all this, what are high school players and their parents to do?
